Spring has arrived leaving us lots and lots of snow.  But inside we have created a warm, inviting atmosphere.  Come check out the beautiful spring florals, frogs, bunnies, dragonflies and other critters, some pieces for your garden, and lots of fern 'stuff'...seems we have a fern theme going this spring!  Burt's Bees Canada has come out with a new skin care line and several other new products including an SPF30 sunscreen.  Every day we receive a new shipment of our intriguing and unusual pieces.  Yes, we are still creating our own treasures from found items.  Speaking of treasures, you will find us featured in the new Treasures of Ontario hardcover book (published by Morgan & Chase)  which should be in bookstores now.

At The Old Tin Shed we are always looking for ways to help the environment.  Last summer we changed most of our lighting to compact fluorescent, we have started (last fall) using biodegradable bags, and we are this spring taking part in EARTH HOUR.  We feel that this is a worthwhile project to increase awareness of the need to think about our mother earth more than we have in the past.  

  The annual Home & Cottage show that has historically been in June has morphed into a Lifestyle Expo which will be held July 18-20th.  You won't want to miss it!  We will have a booth there, and will be doing a Burt's Bees seminar that weekend.
