Christmas Blog 2023

It's the season to be making lists and checking them twice!! We are in full holiday mode here at The Old Tin Shed. Lots of gift and decorating ideas that are sure to delight. 

On December 15th the local merchants of Bancroft are hosting a Starlight Shopping Night with late night shopping. Stores will be open until 7pm. All the stores will be lit, glitzed and glammed for Christmas shopping. Prizes, specials, and treats will be featured at various stores along Hastings and Sherbourne St N. We at The Old Tin Shed will have hot drinks and cookies, some door crasher sales, and features. Grab some friends and book some shopping time. 

At The Old Tin Shed we have a great variety of Christmas decorations - from wreaths to garlands, greens, and berries. There is a wonderful assortment of metal bells and balls in every size that make for cool decor items.

For the presents on your list. check out our scarves , mittens, fun socks, and cozy clothes. For the senses, we have our favourite candles, soaps, and lotions ready to be packaged up. We even gift wrap. 

For anyone that is unable to shop in store before the holiday season, you can shop here on our website www.theoldtinshed.com or you can give us a call about something you have seen previously online, on social media or in store and we can ship the items directly to your loved ones!

With the colder weather moving in, the lower building/ barn has closed for the season, reopening in the spring after the snow is gone as usual. The main store however, continues to operate 7 days a week from 10am-5pm every day except Sunday when we close at 4pm.
